How the Spiritual Defense Coalition Began
August 2025 — The Beginning
The Knights of Columbus Council 15381 established the Sanctity of Life Project, including a vision to bring pro-life organizations across New Mexico together.
March 18, 2026 — The First Gathering
Eight organizations gathered at the Thomas Aquinas Newman Center in Albuquerque for the first formal coalition meeting.
March 25, 2026 — Moving Forward Together
Organizations returned to establish concrete commitments, assign actions, and formally move forward as a coalition.
April 10, 2026 — A Commitment to Unity
Ten organizations signed the Unity Agreement at the Thomas Aquinas Newman Center.
Today — A Growing Coalition
The coalition continues to grow, bringing together organizations and communities across New Mexico in prayer, unity, and action.
